“Archaic is a state of being, it is where we come from and where we go back to, a place that is both comfortable and unbearable, somewhere necessarily pure. This project aims to dig into the matter that connects us to the earth, tracing a path to find the contours of mankind carved in the soil, and then the roots that run deep within us. Far from a linear journey, it speaks of great peace, a welcoming embrace coming from deep within the earth, and at the same time of a bond, tying us to the bloodshed of the present: the rawness of the ground and of the clothes themselves, scream into the echoing abyss of creation.”
