After easing into the year with a quieter than usual Men’s fashion week last month, we return from tomorrow in full swing for the latest edition Milan Women’s Fashion Week, Fall Winter 2025/2026. And, with the plethora of confirmed and rumoured changes up and down the roster, there’s plenty to look forward to.
The calendar commences on Tuesday 25th February at 15:00, with a bang as Gucci are set to present a co-ed collection. The Florentine based brand has a lot to prove after recently announcing the exit of creative director, Sabato De Sarno, who held the position for only 2 years. In lieu of an announcement naming De Sarno’s replacement, the collection will be presented under the direction of Gucci’s design team. Who demonstrated their talent in the not so distant past, with a collection after the departure of Alessandro Michele back in 2022.
This season also sees a number of brands celebrating key milestones. Fendi will honour its landmark 100th anniversary, on Wednesday 26th February at 19:30. For this centennial, the house will present a special co-ed collection, designed by Ms. Silvia Venturini Fendi herself. Whilst one of Milan’s younger sensations, Dsquared2, will mark its 30th year on Tuesday 26th February at 20:00, with yet another co-ed presentation.
Bluemarine is also one to watch, as David Coma is set to debut his first collection helming the house, since his appointment in July of last year. The show will take place on Thursday 27th February at 11:30.
Eye’s will also be on Ferragamo, set to show on Saturday 1st March at 11:30. This will be the house’s final collection under the management of Marco Gobbetti as CEO, before his departure on 6th March. The Italian was responsible for ushering in an era of change at Ferragamo, appointing the house’s current creative director Maximillian Davis back in 2022. However, over the past seasons, the brand has been experiencing declining sales, reportedly the reason for Gobetti’s departure.
Other brand’s in the spotlight this season are:
Versace, showing on Friday 29th February at 20:00, thanks to speculation on the future of Donatella’s contract with the brand.
Diesel, showing on Wednesday 26th February at 14:00, where Glenn Martens will show for the final time before having to balance his directorship at the brand with his new appointment at Maison Margiela.
Jil Sander, showing on Wednesday 26th February at 10:30, as whispers of the potential departure of design duo Lucie and Luke Meier circulate.
And Bally, showing on Saturday 1st March at 13:30, with rumours that Simone Bellotti could be destined as a replacement at either Jil Sander or Gucci.
The calendar also, of course, includes the usual suspects: Prada on Thursday 27th February at 14:00, Dolce & Gabbana on Saturday 1st March at 14:30, and Giorgio Armani on Sunday 2nd March at 11:30. And those to keep us on our toes: Moschino and Sunnei on Friday 28th February at 16:00 and 17:00 respectively, and Marni on Wednesday 26th February at 17:00. Making this a week full of festivities to look forward to.
