About Still Waiting – words by Luca Markó:
This series follows a turbulent period of my life, full of great expectations and anxiety; a time when inside and outside, day and night lost their balance. During the first months after I gave birth I was locked in our home, overwhelmed by the need to build a relationship with my baby. Then spring came and the pandemic broke out, deepening the isolation in my new life. Beside all the happy and intimate moments of being a mother, I felt a sense of vulnerability and confinement. I experienced new bodily experiences, new waves of emotions, new dynamics in my marriage, a loss of my old life and losing myself in my new role that overshadowed all the others.
