The time has come for everyone to wear their dark lenses. Glasses have always been our first filter, the one capable of communicating the mood of the day when we wear them. They are part of our uniform and, besides our iPhone, they are the object that spends the most time with us during the day. We forget we have them, they take care of us and protect us: “You can’t beat up a person who wears glasses!”
Riccardo Linarello covered this editorial shot by Luca Strano, who tells us: “The concept behind the shoot reflects my practice and research. I am interested in photography as an experience and I feel printed matter helps me to communicate this idea. I value the process more than anything, therefore it often becomes the subject of my work.”
