This is an unpublished project premiered today on C41 Magazine.

Andreea Castris, nicknamed Caas, is a young photographer. For the past couple of years she has been working on different ways of visually approaching insignificant objects on a day-to-day basis, as well as situations and practically everything that triggers her eye. She has learned to look at things a little differently, for example he tries to look at details more, or ignore them completely. Zoom in completely or zoom out completely. No middle ground.

About Ode to silence – words by Andreea Castris:

I like the way silence sounds like. I like to imagine what the image of an inanimate object could sound, feel, or even smell like. And the way motion itself can freeze for a couple of seconds, making any physical place lose its geographic properties, becoming only a projection of one’s reality.
