About ‘NYC’:
Wagner’s black and white photos, which depict city life in an extremely poetic way, give an idea of his life experiences. Andre D. Wagner turns the streets of the city in search of something that can amaze him, something that interests and creates surprise. His style is pure photography, in the sense that his images are able to explain themselves. This is not protest photography or photojournalism or street photography. These are photographs that Andre Wagner does not need to explain why viewers hear something from it.
